With fewer than 350 bottles produced, Spirit of ’76 is a rare and collectible expression. Distilled, aged for seven years, and bottled by hand on-site at Mount Vernon using traditional 18th-century techniques, this cask-strength bourbon reflects the patience, craftsmanship, and character of whiskey made at Washington’s historic distillery.
Rich leather, honey, and vanilla lead on the nose, followed by a complex palate of deep raisin, ripe plum, smoked tobacco, and toasted brown sugar. The long, warming finish reveals notes of sweet citrus and ginger.
